Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Task-It mobile application and website ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Task-It lets you create tasks, assign them to people from your phonebook, chat in task threads, and have an AI assistant follow up on progress. AI messages are automated and may occasionally be inaccurate — the Service is a productivity aid, not a substitute for your own judgment.

2. Accounts

You sign in with your mobile number via OTP. Keep your device secure — you're responsible for activity on your account.
You must be legally able to enter contracts (18+ or supervised) and provide accurate information.
You can delete your account and all data anytime from Settings → Delete my account.

3. Subscriptions & payments

Free trial: every user gets a 30-day free trial with full functionality. Receiving tasks is always free — only assigning tasks requires a plan after the trial.
Plans: assigning tasks after the trial requires a paid plan, purchased on the web at taskit.club/billing — Solo ₹449/mo (assign to up to 3 people), Growth ₹999/mo (up to 8 people, plus ₹120/mo per additional user), Enterprise ₹14,999/mo (unlimited people). Customers outside India are billed in US dollars: Solo $8.99/mo, Growth $25.99/mo (plus $4.99/mo per additional user), Enterprise $499/mo; the billing currency is determined by your mobile number’s country code (+91 numbers pay INR, all others USD). Yearly options include 2 months free (extra users ₹1,200/yr or $49.90/yr each). Prices include all applicable taxes. You may also purchase a plan for any other mobile number ("sponsoring"); a sponsored plan for a number that has not yet registered starts on that person's first login. Extra seats added mid-term are charged pro-rata for the remaining term.
Billing: payments are one-time (monthly or yearly terms) processed by Razorpay on our website — plans do not auto-renew and we never auto-debit. We send an SMS reminder before your term ends. Purchases are not made through, and are not billed by, Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Non-renewal: if a term ends without renewal there is a short grace period, after which assigning new tasks is paused. Existing tasks, chats and files keep working, and assignees are never affected.
Refunds: plan terms run their full length once purchased; there are no mid-term refunds or seat cancellations. Failed or duplicate payments are refunded via Razorpay.
Prices may change; we'll notify you in advance and changes apply from your next billing cycle.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Task-It to send spam, harass people, share unlawful content, or attempt to break or overload the Service. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or other users.

5. Your content

You own the tasks, messages and files you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, transmit and display them to the people you've shared them with (your task members). See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

6. Availability & liability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by notice on this page. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
